Broadly speaking: low growth, high debt, aging populations, aging infrastructure, and very intense economic pressure from countries like the US and China, but also increasing competition with the rising of other countries for global resources.

Swiss here. People literally sold it to us and bring it here for safety. No stealing as far as I know.

To be fair we are in some kind of quiet cold war since nearly all of Europe has to work against and around trumps sanctions and build up independence ASAP which makes orange man even more angry.
