Aren't servers depreciating assets owned by the company and tracked on the balance sheet?

If so, on a liquidation event, I'd imagine they'd have to be sold to compensate the shareholders.

Idk yes its meant to depreciate and perhaps is from an accounting perspective but all my computer hardware has been rapidly appreciating… My 8x RTX Pro 6000 cluster has easily doubled in value in the last 12 months.

There are a lot of companies that will buy your servers and lease them back to you.

In my country of origin (not US) that's how it worked starting in high school. Homework was called "suggested problems". The teacher reviewed them in class. No grading. We ended up doing it because that was almost the only way to pass the exams (which, btw, could be up to 50 questions long...)

I stopped reading three sentences in when I realized it was getting hard to follow. AI explains it.

I literally created a /plain-language skill.

in which one!

Not the original commenter, but I did this in all of them.

Their skills formats are basically identical, so I setup simlinks from their own skills directories into a shared one so Claude, Codex, Cursor, and anything else that comes out will all read and write to the same shared skills.

It's great having access to the same skills no matter the harness being used

They are generally portable.

The documentation is really hard to read. It's full of claudisms and verbosity. I highly recommend you to do a human review on the whole thing.

Appreciate the time you took to point this out. Yes, the docs as they are now are LLM written. It might help a bit more if you can point out to a particular section or file that stands out. If not, no worries, I will plan on doing a manual sweep across all .mds for better (clearer) readability.

Which is why we need competition. Which is almost non-existent in US healthcare as comparing prices is near impossible.

The incumbents can just swallow the competition and consolidate further. The end state of crony capitalism is always a monopoly.

Unproven, but it could very well be some problems require consciousness to be solved.

Extraordinary claims require the effort of the proponent so that they can be accepted on the table and take some proportionate share of it.

It's amazing how exhausting AI text is to read.

Likewise. I signed up for woodworking classes. I think I'm in for a rude awakening.
