ill wait for the inevitable "foss community open source alternative" version

We actually already have this: the combination of Home Assistant, ESPHome, and HA-MCP/CLI.

i have had similar thoughts. But i hold on to the idea that its still valuable to invent new tools and ways of doing things. other wise, why not just use html css and javascript and not use react at all?

yah i like this, i downloaded a bunch, thanks

i have this installed and its amazing! https://github.com/jurplel/InstantSpaceSwitcher

this is the way! I even configured it with a combo on my ZSA voyager and now it's just there! Also changed default keys for switching desktop (i believe i disabled it) and have InstantSpaceSwitcher take over, which means my logitech mouse can do the instant switch too; so so happy using this, wish alt tab could use it too.

perfect. you made my day! thank you kind HN user!

i want one of these but i need it bigger. i bought an F-91W last year and its so small, it barely fit on my wrist and it looked like a little girl watch on my wrist.

It's a bigger watch than the f-91w. But when the f-91w came out it was a standard size for a mans watch. Cars were a lot smaller then too.

or they havent always been land locked
