> Nice website

I disagree. Its full of AI slop. Too much animation (cute but distracting) I literally tried for 20 minutes and couldn't focus on reading. I just couldnt comprehend anything.

I'm so glad someone else couldn't focus I thought I was losing my mind here.

And also generate a shorter version.

Is this the Jony Ive project?

Very likely, at least the software half.

The donut-shaped image at the very top of the linked page is a big clue, and fits previous reporting that the Jony Ive project would be a donut-shaped hardware device: https://www.fastcompany.com/91587001/openai-hardware-donut-s...

It's almost certainly the software side. Expect "dot" pendants or "dot" pocketwatches in a year or two.

Thanks for the word synesthesia. It led me to Lexical-Gustatory. I always felt some words have flavors. Like sweet/spicy/savory etc so for me January sweet, February coffee like taste, March spicy, April custard, May light sweet, June sweet, July sweet, August/September/October/November/December- no specific taste. certain words have a very specific taste. For example word Christmas reminds me of Eclairs pastry(i don’t remember having eclairs on Christmas, so don’t know where that connection came from). Now I know the name for this condition.

Interesting, I think that is a rarer form of synesthesia. There's also /r/Synesthesia/ on Reddit, which has some interesting links.

It's not cussing in this case, the website is quite literally about shit.

this motivates me to rewrite my Flutter app in Swift. I gave up on deploying the app to Android because of their 20 testers requirement at that time (not sure if its still true).

People are generally bad with acronyms. For the longest time I used to refer to San Francisco as SFO. On my first visit to Bay Area, I was talking to a local friend and casually said - last weekend, I went to SFO for sightseeing. He was confused and asked why I was sightseeing at the airport. That’s when I realized it’s SF not SFO.

I live in Raleigh, NC and it’s a going joke the amount of travelers or newcomers who refer to the area as RDU (the Raleigh/Durham airport code). I guess it’s a common problem elsewhere.

Both are wrong. It's called "the city".

what about San Fran?

Don’t you see the Done button?

That was said to be pressed when I finished drawing.

> A technical requirements document that describes a rather simple concept in a very verbose way.

This is not AI specific. I have come across many humans who describe a simple concept in a very complex and verbose manner.
