Any chance I could integrate or import data from Readwise Reader? (Link archival tool)

Thank goodness

San Francisco is an example of a place with higher than average Japanese population where you have a chance of getting some really good authentic stuff. I recently ate at a place that caught my eye with chicken katsu curry, and that meal teleported me back to Japan.

A Japanese former co-worker of mine once said the best sushi in the world is served in Vancouver BC :)

Hawaii would be another place (or set of places, depending on how you want to collate)

Oahu has some of the best US ramen I've ever had. Pretty much incomparable to most cities I've lived in, including places like SF and Seattle.

Could you share the restaurant? I maintain a list.

An obnoxiously ignorant suggestion for Japan, of all places.

I live in Japan so I have some experience. There are almost zero trees in all of the hottest places where the majority of people dwell. There are basically three decent sized parks with trees in the entire Tokyo metro area, which is tens of millions of peoples home. Literally the only way to survive most summers is hopping from air con to air con. I couldn't really stand it so I left.

Pus, they cut down large trees (or trim them to a stump) en masse... because of an invasive beetle or fungus? No. Because the leaves are annoying to clean up in the fall. Because the branches are "unsightly." Because it's make-work. Who knows? I see more and more shade-giving trees get stumpified every year.

And Japan's history of planting trees is... mediocre at best. They planted a lot, but pure (now not only useless {no lumber value} but harmful due to pollen fever) monoculture.

Is that so? They have a large forested area, but inside the cities? Greener cities are cooler.

Hopefully in decades hallucinations will be largely solved.

Hallucinations are an essential feature of the technology, they cannot be "solved". You may as well hope that we solve the halting problem.

its just as likely hallucinations will only get worse because their source data will be riddled with hallucinations

You can't hallucinate a working lean proof.

But you can hallucinate everything else.

You absolutely can. How do you know your "working lean proof" actually proves the theorem you intended it to?

One of the concerns of the new LLM made lean proofs is ensuring they are using standard MathLib formulations in the theorem, so (quoting something in I longer recall the source of) a Grothendieck scheme is indeed what the reader and world know as a Grothendieck scheme.

You read the stated theorem?

Uggghhh, I hate Lua. I hate the syntax, everything being tables, and.... dun dun dun 1-indexed arrays.

I wish we wouldn't keep going back to it. I understand the appeal for some use cases, but pleeeeeeease can we just move on to a new language that fulfills the same use cases but with more typical conventions?

What's your best alternative for this use case?
