Didn’t someone make a k8s worker in JavaScript a few months back?

Why would they want that on their balance sheet?

Also they have the ability to put in sufficiently large amount purchase orders to buy up whatever capacity they want.

Even at ludicrous markup prices from TSMC, ifs going to be orders of magnitude cheaper than in house a fab.

I am curious why so many of these systems are based on GitHub issues. Why not use a proper ticket system?

I use Redmine (lightly customized) and have found that to work very well. Especially for performing review / UAT of the work or providing response to the agents questions when it wants me to pick an option.

The underlying data model of a ticket / project management system is so rich and well suited to bodies of work.

Who defines what proper is?

Why are github issues not a proper ticket system? E.g. rust uses it, seems to work fine for them...

The simple answer is convenience. It was just easiest to build it this way when we started.

You mean like humans are already doing at mass scale today ?

Humans are hacking a lot now, but the scope, scale and speed of AI-enabled hacking is orders of magnitude more potentially disruptive.

With AI you have

1. Superhuman reaction time

2. Infinite duplicatability, thousands of agents can work in tandem

3. Superhuman breadth of knowledge of code, exploits, information

Also AI models are improving at a rapid rate

> 2. Infinite duplicatability, thousands of agents can work in tandem

Worse: you have local models they can install on infected computers, so this could easily be "millions" and might just about push "billions" (though phones are a much harder target because power required is still huge even if they technically fit in RAM).

And most importantly:

4. No guilt when violating human standards of ethics.

Are these humans getting more capable by the day, and not getting punished for anything?

Ghost can take markdown files.

Write the .md in VsCode and use the ghost extension ?

Yes. This. So much this.

All of my self hosted SAAS (redmine , gitea, discourse , vaultwaden , GLPI etc etc ) (even the cloudron pass if all runs on) is exactly that.

It’s beautiful! Of course as a self hoster that’s quite different then SAAS vendors who need to earn a profit I guess.

I mean it’s not exactly tin foil hat. I suspect when we see the s1 drop for these companies , the business plan will be essentially exactly what you just said.

OpenWebUI has allowed me to avoid this. Combined with OpenTerminal.

I am using zcode with GLM5.3 flash from z.ai due to the extra usage / air drops etc . However nothing I’m doing is tied to that harness.

When I moved from crush to Zcode , the first thing I did was tell Zcode to migrate all of my crush customizations to Zcode and to set things up in a harness agnostic way going forward. It did.

So the harness specific setup is just symbolic links to the canonical .md file in various git repos. Also the heavy use of redmine / discourse / GLPI (via small go CLi wrappers that crush and Zcode made for me ) allows me to remain context / chat agnostic as well.

This works for hosted mass-market solutions just as well! ChatGPT and Claude allow me to download all of my data, and these days data formats are less of a moat than ever given that you can just hand them to an LLM and have that worry about importing it into your new thing for you.

I've even seen explicit "offboarding prompts" to hand to your old agent, e.g. in Meta Muse.

z.ai with zcode. it works around the clock for me off of my redmine queue

It’s called using systems of record. I use redmine and discourse. Jointly with my stack of agents (COO) (managed by four very high trust humans via OWUI interacting with scoped Hermes profiles ).

I’m adopting this stack under me (CTO) and integrating it into agent zero
