Tried some other watches for kids, the interactions are so confusing compared to casio.

Ironically. Wikipedia already links that concept to low-background steel https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low-background_steel#Cultural_...

It’s the same author as anatomy

I don’t think I think so differently from you and managed through a few interviews with success. I almost go further than the OP by suggesting to interviewees that I have a blank page of notes I need to fill in with evidence to support hiring them, for someone else to read. The coding question is to kick start that process.

The thinking gives more than just the answer and makes it more of a conversation. As a candidate I will mention projects I had similar when think about anything. As the interviewer it is hard to gather experience: so many people stay abstract and it’s infuriating (let me help you get this job! Yes you can do something means nothing; when you did do something means everything.)

I am sure that many interviewers don’t see it like this however and treat it like a quiz sadly. Best advice for interviews I was given as a candidate: the interviewer will decide in the first five minutes if they want to hire you. The rest of interview is them trying to convince themselves and others of that decision.

The charging situation need to be factored in. Charging at home, it has enough range. Public charging, range buys the likely hood of charging convenience.

Public charging infrastructure in most of Europe is exceptional[0], especially for cars like the Polo, which is a car typically used in populated areas.

I wouldn't say execeptional.

There are many times I tried to charge and got asked to indstall apps or the charger wasn't working. Blocked by a petrol car.

Charging in europe comes with a learning curve.

Why should kids put away their toys first?

Isn’t it more optimal, from the perspective of play, to have them spread out?

I can see the argument that if you clear your desk, you’ll be more inclined to draw because you have the space. But if I didn’t impose that value, they wouldn’t necessarily draw. They’d just play with something else.

I don’t track my fuel usage. I did once. Economically, I don’t need to. The car tells me my MPG anyway, literally, if I care to look.

Accounts are harder to track now, with fewer physical assets and more renting and subscriptions.

The point you make seems to be that rigidity in the system would bring value. But I think the values people have often exist outside the system. The system is imposing an idea of what is worth tracking or organising in the first place.

Oddly, I think LLMs are quite intentional in their current incarnation. You start with an empty input box, state a curiosity, and go looking for information. There’s very little imposed structure around what you should care about.

That changes once OpenAI et al. start tracking what you do and recommending what you should be looking at before you’ve even formed the intention yourself.

Its better for them to put away Toy A before breaking out Toy B. If you dont teach them this habit, you will spend your entire day cleaning up Toys A-Z strewn all over the place. Children need to learn to clean up after themselves, its a failure on the parents part, especially if they force the other older siblings to be the clean up crew.

There are whole studies and philosophies on work/play. The one here answering your question is the 'Work Cycle' and the step 'Return Work'.

Anyway to know this is real?

As it says at the end, this was evidence at the class action suit "Comes v. Microsoft Corp.", which was eventually settled by Microsoft by paying $180 million, after many years of litigation.

Thank you! I didn’t know what it was. The downvotes suggest I should have.

You can verify it yourself if you read until the end.

You know, I did read it. Without the full context, it isn’t entirely clear. I have looked again, and don’t feel it is wrong to come away unsure.

Where I live, no Dad is being praised for changing a diaper. And golf clubs suffer.

Quite hidden in the mobile app at least. I had to click thinking. The slider goes 5.6 Instant, 5.6 Medium, 5.6 High, 5.6 Extra High, and the surprise 6 Pro

I see this as well. Odd there is only 6 Pro.

We should dice up time instead.

You're on the right track. We really need to dice up spacetime. Everyone can purchase their own spacetime worldtube.
