Not really. Modern society is complicated, and law is a technology that is a reflection of the complexity of society.

To make an analogy: you wouldn't say that "in a utopian society, engineers are an unnecessary profession. Buildings should be clear and simple enough that a common person can be their own structural engineer," because that would mean that building technology would no longer handle a lot of the problems we expect it to handle. It wouldn't be utopia, it would be primitivism.

Not really. What they'd actually do is help them produce output they don't understand and lack the competence to evaluate.

Holy shit I had no idea there was a YouTube series, nor that he had a YT channel.

And a recent video is about designing a dashboard with Ai, which is exactly what I been needing from him specifically.

I remember reading the book 6 years ago and I loved how easy it was to understand.

It's also where I first learned about dense UI and was amazed at a before/after example of one. You can clearly see that uncommon common sense he has about UI/UX.

I’m working on ProofLeague, an app for keeping workout promises with friends:

You create a private league, set a weekly goal (workout 3x a week), and tap Start when you begin a workout. Friends get notified and then have 30 minutes to ask for a selfie. If nobody asks, the workout counts automatically. There’s no public feed or strangers involved, just a small group keeping each other honest.

My friends and I had been doing a version of this via text message for years, but this app has been great. I am in 4 "leagues", all of them get notified at once and then I only share my selfie once and it automatically goes to any group that asks. It's motivating and hilarious to see people working out.
