it's weird how the web ui doesn't show the latest flash options while the desktop/mobile apps update the same day as the release. I saw the model in the model selection (by coincidence) before seeing it show up on HN

would some Casio/watch expert know if it's possible to replace the face plate on these watches? I love the simplicity but I don't like all the text outside the watch itself like "Step tracker" and "Water Resist".

You could look at these two which are the original f-91 with minimal faceplate. I have the second one and I like it a lot.

the face decal is printed on the inside of the crystal (plastic). it can be removed with solvent and replaced if you find/make a replacement.

I am with you, I love the anesthetics of a Casio but hate how the face has so much text.

I think the appropriate way in this case is to cover it up with black tape.

Due to the recent Github outages, I've slowly started moving to Gitlab, they've been around longer and seem to have a decent track record.

I moved to using Fastmail as my primary over 7 years ago and I still use it as my main email address but I had hoped I could get rid of my gmail but instead it became a catch-all junk inbox similar to OP's gmail. The main issue is that so many websites use Login in with Google as a way to sign-in that I just had to keep my gmail logged in most of the time.

So instead of "moving away from Gmail to Fastmail" it's more like "using Gmail and Fastmail" for me.
