Why can't an AI be trained to generate "the whole package"?

It too is just software

There is a well known problem with LLMs that if you feed it its own output, it gradually gets worse and worse.

We haven't really understood what the limitations of LLMs are. And I do not know. But as a person who uses Fable and Sol regularly to design my own new programming language, they suck at the task of defining new systems coherently. So far no AI I have tried is good at defining new coherent systems well. I suspect it's because of the recursive problem of using it on its own output.

So, a human is still needed to define and write the sort of first genesis of the system, and then AI can take it once the problem has been defined. But defining the problem and using it on itself is what AI is really bad at (for now).

Likely because open conflict between 10 of millions of adults is a lose-lose

The last of the firmly 1900s pre-information age mindset are exiting the mortal plane faster and faster

Millennials on down make up the majority and what else are they going to do? They don't have the work the land skills of prior generations

GenX candidates are failing at the voting booth; they're likely to continue to be skipped over: https://fortune.com/2025/08/07/gen-x-ceos-decreasing-baby-bo...

The AI backlash is largely a data center backlash (though not entirely).

So Millennials can just do what Boomers and GenX have done and want to do; loot their retirements and wealth and ignore them screaming about it from their hospice bed

I think it's less pessimistic and more aware of its limits now and thus not as impressed

When we were all younger it seemed the sky was the limit

But we've gotten wiser and realize the ceiling with tech like iPhones and PS5

Hedonic treadmill just goes in a loop of experience. Consumer tech is just attention seeking codependency on the part of corporate

The real cool stuff going on with tech is in domains like regenerative and longevity medicine; see Michael Levin at Tufts for truly sci fi Wolverine healing type mind blowing ideas

I personally still feel like the sky could be the limit, i have so many insane scifi fantasy type ideas for the future of tech but honestly i dont really want to see any of them become a reality because i know that with our current political socioeconomic system that tech would be used to abuse a large amount of people. The way i see it society is headed towards techno feudalism and the better the tech the more difficult it will be for the serfs to escape.

Ive got so many crazy tech fantasies though, im actually afraid to describe them for fear of giving the ruling class more ideas.

Friends overseas are no longer trusting the American people

At first they were saying it's just Trump, they get it

As it has carried on and on conversations have veered into "the people of that country are not reliable and intelligent global partners or the American system truly is a dystopian mess"

Enumeration of syntax patterns when rules restrict legal syntax patterns can be done without LLMs

The data center cartel that sprang up over the last 20 years is desperate to not have their entire social moat go up in smoke
