We have seven printers. I use an HP LaserJet 6P which I bought 20+ years ago. My son uses an Epson setup to print films for screen printing tee shirts. All the others were free on Craiglist over the years. I also have two FedX Kinkos nearby for color printing.

"risks and reputational damage"

Good one, I can't stop laughing. Thanks!

I wear shorts and a t-shirt about 360 days a year. Long sleeves and pants are reserved for weddings, funerals and avoiding poison ivy and insect bites.

I posted this a month ago: "At my location I can get an iced tea with free refills. Then I fill out the survey listed on the paper receipt and use that to get a buy one sandwich get one free deal."

The BOGO requires a manager thumb print, so order at the counter. Always say nice things in survey. I'm told managers read them to the staff.

I remember a pot luck dinner where I was the only guest that brought food. The invitation was clear, just ignored.

Another factor is alcohol consumption and the tolerance for drinking and driving. DUI citations were rare when I was young. I rarely see people drinking at parties I go to now.

I just repeated all your searches using https://www.google.com/search?q=%s and the AI Overview gave good results with links to source material. I'm not signed into Google.

I picked up a broken TV on Craigslist free curb alert and spent a few hours trouble shooting with Google. This included taping contacts on a 90 pin cable. I was getting close when the screen fell over and broke. I told Google it was game over and it replied "take a breath. You have done a great job. Here is list of parts to harvest."

When I dropped my landline after more than 40 years, I transferred the number to a flip phone. This number is also used my family members as a backup phone number for 2FA and voice. Everyone has access to voice mail and can leave messages for others if a phone is lost, broken or stolen.

Growing up, my Dad would buy cars from bulletin board ads where he worked at NASA. I was third of six kids and we had a fleet of as many as six cars at a time at our house. Oil changes were unnecessary, but adding oil every tank of gas was common.

I'm driving a 2005 Toyota Matrix with 230K miles that I bought new in 2004. It's just recently needed oil added before an oil change is due.

At some point it feels like blaming someone else for my cocaine problem. If Amazon sucks, stop using it.

It would be nice to drive thru my neighborhood without have to sit behind an Amazon delivery vehicle parked in the middle of the road.
