Sounds, like you already mention with org-mode or similar ones) like literate programming (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Literate_programming) or jupyter notebook.

I think the solution is still code, just at a much higher level of abstraction. Maybe a start is kind of typed ADR or FSM that guides (constrains) the agents. I believe more type checking guarantees will be more and more important for agents.

Dont leave us hanging, is it Korean (hangul) ?

Do you have a source? Can you "waste" that energy instead of feeding it in?

It's the new EEG 2027 Amendment which changes things fundamentally. Instead of receiving a flat payout per kwh, installing and connecting a new solar installation from 2027 will be under market condition contracts and depending on the contract has maybe to pay a fee when feeding in during negative price times. The incentive now changed from 'we need to get solar and pay for the electricity' to 'store your electricity and use it yourself'. All existing solar installations before 2027 will continue to receive the flat payout when feeding in the power for 20 years.

It's solar so you can literally just unplug it. Although at the scale of an individual house you can just unplug (or otherwise deactivate) pretty much anything. It's the industrial scale stuff that can't be adjusted on a dime.

I could probably make a small PCB with a light sensor, that disconnects the solar panels (through a relay) once sunlight hits the sensor. So you aren't paying any fees for supplying the grid with energy.

Why not store it in small and large battery systems and use it later?

Much better yes. I am just thinking that worse case one could burn it to not have to pay, so in reality having to pay would not be a problem.

How much less of a problem is this as batteries improve? Honest question, I never saw this quantified.

It's in german but quite interesting article regarding this : https://www.solarserver.de/2025/12/19/analyse-dunkelflauten-...

What is the insight there about solar and wind depending on sun and wind and how batteries change that? It would be interesting to quantify that. Is there a relevant number in that page?

A good project for training an llm

I've met folks that descend from the Zapotec in southern Mexico, and they still use whistling language to talk to each other across mountain valleys.

There are still people speaking a whisking language in the south-west of France[1], not many but it's being taught in school there to preserve it[2]

It would be nice to (additionally) be able to load json in html without javascript (I am aware it is js object notation) for the same data. This way you could see it in a clean data structure and not serialized. Maybe using https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Reference/... or similar?

Please recommend some worthy publications

I find increasingly that written words from organisations are trending worse. I tend to find particular authors are sometimes good writers, and sometimes they have blogs which I have always liked but more & more lately.

My national/public broadcaster/media organisation(ABC, Australia) is doubling down on fiddling all day with headlines & the pictures. They’re not selling any product, they don’t need to follow commercial trends.

https://rss.social/ has been a godsend for finding random articles of interesting content, A LOT than HN these days, especially when you don’t want to index on AI content. https://substack.com/@gurwinder/posts https://jmarriott.substack.com/archive

I like history podcasts, especially anything by Mike Duncan, and some of the pop culture stuff by the Ringer is ok.

Sorry, I don’t have any good recommendations for commercial publications.

Why is egress more expensive than ingress in clouds? To lock in users.

Why cloudformation in some cases leaves s3 buckets laying around after destroy? To keep charging those cents.

Why no caps? To get the user into the mindset of we ll pay whatever they say, and charge the ones that dont notice or dont ask for the refund. Same reason why my newspaper subscription autorenews.

Nothing cynical about both of these. I think assuming it is technical is naive.

Eh... Bandwidth contracts are almost always billed only in the dominant direction. Very few cloud applications are inbound dominant. There's no need to bill for inbound traffic.

I personally find the cloud bandwidth prices pretty high, and I assume that's where they make up for difficult to account for costs, but not charging for inbound is totally reasonable.

You could use a library as a base.
