SadServers | Software Engineer | REMOTE (Canada) | Part-time or Contract | $55 - $75/hr | https://sadservers.com

I'm the founder of SadServers, a SaaS that provides hands-on challenges for Linux & DevOps/SRE engineers and assessments for hiring teams. It was launched (and quickly broken) here on HN four years ago and we've been growing steadily since then (about to pass 1M VMs served).

Besides training and interviewing, companies use our platform to evaluate and/or train their SRE AI agents. I'm looking for a software engineer who can develop this offering, collaborating with customers and working on projects like our own benchmarking, see https://srebattle.com/ (WIP) for example. Our stack is Django REST (backend), Python (runners), Node/React/Vite (website).

Please email jobs@sadservers.com with subject "SRE AI Developer". The hiring process for selected applicants is two steps: one video call and one paid mini-project.

Floci works well, we started using it at SadServers for our AWS cli scenarios :-)

yep, the "Lord of The Flies" scenario happened in real life and the kids just collaborated and survived fine https://www.theguardian.com/books/2020/may/09/the-real-lord-...

Are the courses meant only for personal consumption or can/will they be offered to other people? (for ex I have a Linux/DevOps training & assessment platform)

Courses are publicly available. When you generate a course anyone on the app can enroll in it.

I would add private option, even if paid as businesses may want to use for their internal training and not want public

Good luck with the venture

That's fair. It is certainly something we will add if people want it.
