Is this a private company?

True... but a majority don't care. And it works.

As always you are not compelled to that. Lets others enjoy the convenience of passkey.

Many people in hn are involved in such jobs. Not sure they would agree.

But I sincerely hope things like muse will force public and unethical programmers to change.

How would Muse do that?

I’m wondering the same thing. Then I started wondering whether gp meant Muse the band, because from what I can figure Meta’s Muse won’t make any difference in this, but there’s a slim chance a Muse song with lyrics that can change a software developer’s soul.

This is just me musing. I don’t actually know what Muse’s music is like.

I am not amused!

(great writing)

facebook's muse

I'm sorry, I still don't get it (I did assume that was the Muse you referred to first).

Now I should feel pity about programmers who broke the internet… right. I rather wish they flop

totally...

Funnily what I found was to install 1.1.1.1 from cloudflare. Enable that. PipePipe works perfectly.

when you use adb - no need to wait for 24hours. Just use android studio or adb install

A lot of people do see the graphs. But reality is - unless they cooperate with lkml and merge it there is no point. Ubuntu has the only beta ISO for it - works not very good for the Lenovo. Qualcomm does not provide any support. Then people won't buy.

They'd still have the >99% or so of their customers who prefer Windows or will put up with it for the smartphone-grade battery life.

Are you sure? Snapdragon laptops have worst sales in Windows world. Or are you a MS ARM guy?

> I hope people remember this when advocating for chromium. Just because it is open source doesn't mean they don't control it. We need to start the long process of hard forking now or turn to alternatives like Firefox as a new foundation.

This is correct but rarely in practiced.

During firefox DRM/HTML5 issue, I know many people from Free software foundation Europe absolutely telling in their blogs, talks etc please stop Mozilla from implementing this DRM or that... but finally when I spoke to these in private they told --- ya, whatever - I need to see this series in netflix etc- so I have another device with chrome etc to watch it. (Indeed Firefox did implement it)

This behavior is the reason average Joe gives up...
