if people find a feature for the physically disabled useful they'll use it. should manufacturers ship disabled-only versions with those features enabled and disable them in the other devices?

god please no

this comment put a smile on my face

some people, most people i'd say, don't really enjoy working with computers. if you ask anyone on the street they know chatgpt of course but ask them what an agent is and they will have no idea.

That's okay, though. Agents are an abstraction no one will really need to understand. They will still benefit from it when they press a button to 'do the thing' which previously required a human.

Yes, I just think there is a huge mental barrier that will gradually have to disappear through slow diffusion of information. People think it's too complicated, it must be hard to use since it's a complex technology etc. etc. So even when we reach the stage that it would be easy to use, many will just not even try or know about it.

are you being intentionally obtuse? yes, those were all contemporary things. some classes had access to some activities, and some other classes had to settle (to put it lightly) with some other ones. the aristocracy didn't live in the same conditions as factory workers.

scarcity fosters creativity too

that sounds well intended but naive and unrealistic

that so-called self-sufficiency is a material choice allowed by the complimentary paradigm. i am very pleased with not having to grow my own food to eat. we ran to the cities to escape from that.

that's so short-sighted and demonstrably wrong lol

>Windows is still terrible

that's just an opinion. m(b?)illions of persons use it on a daily basis with little to no issues.
