You could argue that you did that to entertain your social media followers and gain more of them, which is somehow a material gain.

Fruity loops is the producer in that example

> It's clear which side of that dichotomy you land on, for better or worse.

This is not a binary, you are boxing in a person you had no detailed conversation with

I am clearly not the target audience, but as a hobbyist that has used da vinci resolve at points i understand basically nothing of what the software actually is supposed to do

basically it is a toolkit for agents (or developers) to create and render media using code. it's video editing where you describe the video instead of clicking or dragging stuff.

I suppose the ability for a strong coding-focused LLM to create the "video code" needed to produce a video is the selling point here. It's a good idea, but my naive thought is that it will be more work and more expensive to use this tool/process if you have strict requirements and opinions about the result.

I'm basing this on my experience with vibe coding; asking an LLM to regurgitate code which compiles and does something is easy, but having it produce a meaningful project with changing/evolving requirements along the way, which follows an idea you are trying to describe carefully but evidently not well enough, is significantly harder and error prone [1].

At this point in my project I'm not sure if using Claude as the only way to implement changes was actually faster or better, vs. implementing it myself where an LLM only assists with functions and overall guidance. I feel that up to half of what Claude spends its tokens on at this point is fixing old code whenever it needs to work on the core functionality in some areas of my project.

Adobes moat is being the industry standard, and the wealth of documentation and tutorials and features like integrating with industry standards (printers, cameras, exotic formats). I can't imagine every company going through the hassle to have people relearn their complete stack when hiring new people because the have the n-th possible "adobe replacement" software.

I'm struggling with the audience? The main thing about Adobe right now is millions of hours of youtube videos that show me how to do stuff. I would be completely lost with this software

I haven't had a chance to use it, how are you lost?

> "It's just horrible. I don't know, it just proves that we shouldn't have any of that stuff, the electronic side," Norris said

It seems he doesn't want ANY electronics, which is frankly ridiculous. The steering wheel has looked like the one from a flighter jet for decades now. There is electronics in everything, even the helmets.

Which is indeed ridiculous and that's not what he said. The electronic side refers to the hybrid part. Most drivers have spoken out against that this season.

When was the last release of a new car from Tesla? When did they do anything exciting? Tesla is going in 5 directions at once, none of it with conviction, bleeding money with the CEO addicted and focused mainly on pity battles online most of the time besides managing 5 companies at this point.

Tesla itself made a turn for the worse over the years and there are a lot of things to criticize honestly

He's not trying to colonize mars, he's trying to get power and wealth and for you to like him. Nothing irks this man more than someone who doubts he is a saviour. It is reasonable to demand we fix the planet we currently inhabit, rather than believe a ketamine-addict that the better solution is to just let it go to hell and move on.

If he wants power, wealth and fans then he could retire already because that would be mission accomplished. It seems that there is some other motivation.

You mean for example the gas turbines he's running without permit to power his data centers?

You’re missing the forest for the trees.
