Can you photograph a photo so it’s not really noticeable?

Yes to arbitrarily good degree with hobby grade tooling. The previous gen photo tech (b&w negative film, colour negative film) used device called enlarger† which is pretty much taking a photo of a photo.

I've been able to get some truly great digital copy of old analog printed photo using Google snapseed and a sub 1k€ smartphone and that was almost a decade ago, so I'm pretty sure anyone dedicated can.

I don't know, this blog post and the lasts read like organisational and human failures to me. Their system doesn't degrade, they even have infinite retries and no meaningful quotas anywhere I can see (but I'm not a heavy github user).

I feel like this becomes a lesson on how NOT to design and operate a SaaS.

There are buttons on the bottom left: pause and two to adjust the speed (down to 0.1x). Some parts of the city can be adjusted when you click on it (I just found the transactions/s)

But even at .1x it's too quick. :) I should be able to fire individual transactions and watch them flow.

yeah, interactivity would be next-level (as several others in these threads have mentioned)
