Thanks for the link! 1) It seems some are coming down, like RedHat 2) This pattern should be expected based on the amount of "intelligent" compute, heuristic agentic algorithms, money and awareness on the issue of software vulnerabilities at the moment. Projects like Glasswing, Daybreak, Fairwind, Purple etc are in full swing and seemingly effective

They are also incentivized to find high severity vulnerabilities - and/or to announce found vulnerabilities as high severity.

After all, what would all that hardware and research be worth it, if it didn't find the most critical vulnerabilities around?

It is the same with "give me a random number (7) or seed for the rand function (42)". If the models did not converge on the same in low temp settings they would be useless

It was a piston in a non-compressible fluid so to speak (ie. storm in a glass of water)

Interestingly that is not what we got, but maybe we should loop at architectures like this again? The JEPA loop is interesting, but might fail for the in-flexibility of the component ordering

Excel excels because if fills the 2D user interface. But not separating calculations from the tabular position in the UI is a historical failure and things like this is a band aid on that

Having used Framework very extensively at one time, I would say that is one of the best thing about Excel.

OTOH, LAMBDA and LET enable moving the core of some calculations into user defined functions in the Name catalog. And Tables fix a lot of the cell reference issues though they need a lot of improvement to handle array spills.

This Framework? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Framework_(office_suite)

I sometimes wonder about an excel-like interface where the tables and columns can be given names, reducing errors from incomplete ranges. It would be like reinventing a database though.

Everybody at OpenAI is working like a summer intern or researcher. Not much care for the production side of things.

Embodied robots is the most significant threat imo. Capital can be taxed but for now we have few general policy frameworks for the "who gets to walk and drive on the street" question

Scares me. When the ruling class get robots servants they will have no need for even simple human interaction anymore and that will truly unleash them to do harm.

it is only around 5% of GDP

The EU "theater" in wonderfully bureaucratic

> nobody has the first idea what they're doing

It is not that complicated for now. It is an algorithm on a loop and someone started it

I do not think you are appreciating the scale of this. Imo one of the main reason that there is no regulation is because nobody has any idea what would be a good regulation. People (like dario) make suggestions, and get rightly shut down because his suggestion massively favors his own company.

There is always some one who instructed or trained the agent. start there
