Yes it is an piece that you can integrate on every form by hand if you are a coder. The plugin is addressed to people who aren't coding and thus are using Wordpress. It secures all forms of your page at once even for third party form builders and themes.
Since June 2026 there exists a WordPress integration, but it covers only a few forms and requires for an additional service.
But yes, if you don't use Wordpress and develop your page on your own, Cap may be a good choice.
Almost every console jailbreak required the use of a specific game, going all the way back to the original Xbox. PS1 and 2 required a specific disc or swapping in a legit disc. Even the NES required a real game cart alongside your third party carts.
It turns out that opening locks is a hell of a lot easier when you have a key.
Cubic Ninja was not the first. The earlier ones used DS mode as an exploit using a cheap DS flashcard. I'm not even sure that was the first, but it was the first big one.
I remember having to buy GTA Liberty City Stories to jailbreak the PSP. Then there was the infamous Cubic Ninja jailbreak which caused the game to become worth hundreds of dollars.
Console hacking has been like that for a very long time. But usually after the first exploits are found and hackers can start playing with things, many more follow. Though Nintendo has been stripping down the OS every new console so there’s less interesting stuff to exploit outside of games.
I would {hope, expect, urge} the people who can easily convert those numbers into proper key form to just not do that, to leave the tiniest of barrier of entry for trolling scriptkiddies.
Browsers might've gotten their magic revocation updates, but a lot of other things haven't… (and yeah this is "security by hoping hard enough", but still better than nothing.)
Nah, the more trolling script kiddies causing mayhem we get the quicker things get fixed before they can be exploited by actors interested in doing actual damage.
I think that near lossless, progressive JPEG XL would work well, once compression algorithms improve. I am _so_ tired of trying to zoom in on a product picture (eg to see what buttons are on a remote or just to read fine print) on E-Stores, only to realize that I need to open in new tab and remove some query paramaters from the URL because they think that people are using 3G but with a computer with a fast CPU (to decode AVIF).
I disagree. Making things slower for everyone due to this edge case is a bad tradeoff. Web APIs exist to let you know when zooming in happens. You can swap to a higher resolution, or even tiled image in these cases if you really care about this use-case.
