No not really. Most of it is handled for you. You don't install anticheat because the console already has DRM. You don't update your drivers because driver updates are bundled with OS updates (and you can't connect to the store without being on the latest update anyway). You don't compile shaders because they are pre-compiled on console.
Due to consoles being very locked down and due to them preventing users from running unsigned code, cheaters aren't a problem in multiplayer games on console
I think they're less of a problem, but still a problem. There are devices one can use to add/remove aim jitter, counter weapon recoil, etc. They sit between an input device and the console, and have per-game and per-weapon profiles.
Modern consoles also compile shaders? Ugh, that's the most annoying part of playing RocketLeague right now. The game updates like every day and every time it's updated I need to spend 5ish minutes recompiling (if not more).
That would work from the technical point of view, I do agree.
On the other hand, how would we make "lazy" people use those? And ensure that won't reuse the same password on some vibe coded forum that will store them in the plain text and get hacked in a few weeks =)
That's why I mentioned that mindset shift as the prerequisite.
Beware that you need a hypervisor exploit to run Linux. And these are incredibly rare. But, there was one patched very recently on firmware version 14.10

Xbox consoles probably.
Apparently they're introducing a pay-as-you-go option next month. So instead of paying $80/$100 upfront, you'd pay it (or more!) gradually as you stream the game.
