I have done a bit of a changeup, in the mornings I use a novamin+fluoride based toothpaste, at night before bed I use an nhap+xylitol based (non-fluoride) toothpaste and it's been flying colors and no cavities for years. Takes care of cold/sweets sensitivity too. I floss every couple of days. I also use a cheap braun electric toothbrush with 2 minute timer. I don't see why anyone needs a $100 bluetooth tracking toothbrush tbh. Anyway, may your teeth always be a natural teeth color and you be cavity free :)
why do I always feel like "this is where the enshittification begins" when I hear about license changes, even though these seem kind of harmless? But I'm not a lawyer so my hackles always hackle. And yes I am a paying customer, currently
I've worn one, you forget it's there fairly quickly. It really isn't a big deal. I wore it for a month (2 of them @ 2weeks each) and it wasn't a big deal at all. Ijust wanted to watch how my eating affected my glucose in almost real time.
I don't think prosecutors generally are very motivated to pursue tiny misdemeanor fines unless they have slam dunk evidence.
As far as I can tell, the most likely charges for the garbage bag strategy where I'm located would be a maximum $500 fine, which is too low for most people to even bother with a lawyer.
If they wanted any jail time, they would have to try to frame it as obstruction of justice, which is a stretch and would be difficult to get to stick with a jury.
Sounds like someone who's never had to hire a lawyer before. They vary in cost and quality, and there's not a 1:1 correlation between the two. There's also many different areas, eg real estate vs corporate vs labor vs immigration vs criminal.
well hopefully this snowballs and most public facing cameras other than private ones by people and businesses go extinct (state run cameras). We don't need to be recording every citizen's movement "just in case" . Society got along for thousands of years without it, and the potential for ever increasing tendency toward authoritarian regimes points to such surveillance as a terrible mistake in any society striving for a democracy.
Sometimes the only way is civil disobedience to get the point across to paid off politicians and ones that overly friendly to sacrificing our rights to may the cops happy.
