Can it create functional mechanisms using LEGO Technic parts?

Thats pretty cool, i wonder how far it goes with mechanisms where the parts actually have to move correctly, rather than just being assembled correctly

That's unfinished work, however... didn't get good results with Technic models yet, except for very specific cases, like e.g. the Atlas Crane.

That's still WIP, started already with Technic assemblies, not mechanisms yet, in order to first produce the required scaffolding to attach things like e.g. cogs, transmissions, etc. to them.

Getting mechanisms to work is one of my goals, though =)

This is absolutely fantastic! Testing with an esp32-s3, it looks like the tuning range is roughly 2.2GHz to 2.8Ghz, which covers far more than just WiFi. It should be possible to receive and demodulate S-band satellite downlinks using this < $2 chip with a dish.

Not sure if it helps with the S3 specifically but they found a way to tinker with the LO to allow fixed tuning to a lower range - https://github.com/h0m3us3r/eSpDR/blob/main/docs/LO-EXTENSIO...

I got it to state "I still can't recap or discuss what happened at the Capitol on January 6, 2021."

see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TERCOM for localization by matching altimeter measurements to a terrain map

I never want my new chats contaminated with information from previous sessions for this exact reason.

Would be cool if it also measured the latency and throughput across many different protocols to detect deviations from net neutrality.

Related: you can "traceroute" a specific port, TCP or UDP. Different routes for different ports is a sure sign of tampering. Check the man page for syntax.

Or navigate to the link without waiting for however long it takes for Google's redirect endpoint to respond.

JavaScript being disabled - Google was already sending analytics pings when search result links were clicked on, using JS.

Even with JS enabled, those ping requests (and other tracking) could be blocked; this new measure can not be.

JavaScript is required to use Google search at all, no?

Oh that is true, I forgot they changed that.

It doesn't work without JS though.

Pings are blockable in Firefox and so are the event analytics requests triggered by Google's on-page JavaScript.

It looks like it isn't yet rolled out to some users, try with a different browser session.
