is your solution to tally up all the "wealth" periodically, and then "distributing" it to all the humans equally? And if we did that, how does it ever get allocated to productive means?
People with wealth in excess of "$X" though might suggest that either 1) our tax code is not progressive enough or 2) that there are loopholes some people are exploiting. For the good of democracy, it should certainly be looked into.
