UN is just a voluntary group activity discussion form that's all, not some objective stand-up world police.
Any UN wide military intervention would require some consensus from the major powers, but Israel is being shielded by powers such as US and Germany so nothing will happen at UN level especially when those two countries are known for applying sanctions on people and countries boycotting Israel and aiding Palestine.
