It seems the new definition of fascism is any political opinion that isn't hard left.

No, fascism has a pretty clear definition, just read Ur-Fascism. DHH fits that to a T. You just don't know what fascism is, or you're struggling with some cognitive dissonance.

DHH repeatedly presents electoral democracy as the legitimate mechanism for resolving political disagreement. He has also repeatedly emphasized free speech, including criticizing European restrictions that he regards as excessive, and has argued for keeping political disagreements from destroying ordinary social relationships.

Historians generally use fascism for something considerably more specific than nationalism, anti-immigration politics, or right-wing populism: typically an authoritarian ultranationalist movement hostile to liberal democracy and political pluralism, historically associated with a powerful centralized state, suppression of opposition, and political violence.

DHH doesn’t fit the bill.

I have never heard of this work, but thank you for sharing it. It's terrifying how nearly every single point is something that AI companies are embracing and marketing under.

His article was literally in support of Tommy Robinson's marches, there isn't really any further right on the political spectrum than you can go, these politics are so extreme that no political party no matter how far right would risk association with and they go out of their way to vet and exclude them.

That's funny since Restore is pretty tight w/ Tommy Robinson, actually.

This is just so silly. There's plenty of space left to go right of Robinson. He's not even advocating a christian theocracy, and there's plenty of people in the US that do.

Lying about your opponents just make them look good. We should all have learnt this lesson from the Trump fiasco.

There is no viable political party in the UK that is right-wing enough to be endorsed by Robinson. When the normie racist party (Reform) isn't racist enough so you have to go to the even more racist party (Restore) there might be an issue with your beliefs.

If you like his politics then good for you, no need to make things up about a country you don't understand.

> There is no viable political party in the UK that is right-wing enough to be endorsed by Robinson

Ok. And? This was not the statement I objected to. Just because there isn't a mainstream major party right of him, doesn't mean he's to the most right there is in the universe. Those are completely different things.
