Attention is all you have
I lost out on subsidized housing because of Hotmail, but even to this day I still regularly get obvious spam.
Hotmail was great 20+ years ago. Now, it's junk and I only send junk its way.

They wiped my original account clean, no ifs no buts. Just gone. Years of conversation with Friend and Family. No considerations.

Same. My very first email with them was deleted, because I was using it via POP3 instead of logging into the site. I should probably just self-host an email for junk, then I can remove the very last Microsoft thing in my life.
