A shame, as a Spaniard my German boss always said that I was more German than him...never sure as to take it flattering or otherwise.

Of course he said if I was to be a German I would be from Berlin....apparently those folks can make a public budget work.

This was around the financial crisis. Not this one upcoming, the last one.

Being German and being German from Berlin are not the same thing.

I'd take the Berlin thing as a compliment.

The German thing alone wouldn't be one.
