I wondered how demographic change was affecting this, and it does appear to be the case that 20% of that change in the UK is due to the Muslim population doubling.

Over double. 1.5m in 2001 to 3.9m in 2021, estimated 4.1m today though I think that's a slight underestimate given recent immigration
