Thanks. Work has always been a means to get out of working. With so many hobbies and interests, work has always been a drag. I don't want much and what I do buy i do my best to 'buy it for life.'

Be careful with this nest egg it can be shattered at any time before you choose to retire (unemployment, sickness, getting swindled, divorce, bad investments, ....).

If you do FIRE the jealousy and resent and other people being embarrassed for you while you enjoy your life can be a little isolating.
