However, RW was going through hell on earth with his diagnoses and the progression of this disease. Many of us don't view what he did as a willful destruction of the life that God gave him.
There's a lot I could say about it, but, again I just want to reframe this as about being respectful to the family who deserve to not have their traumas reopened daily by juvenile desecrations of his image, moreso than about the rightness or meaning of Robin Williams' actions. Basic human decency.
